Because life-long success depends on self-discipline, our class developed “Class Expectations” that will give each student the opportunity to manage his or her own behavior. Your child deserves the most positive educational environment possible for growth. Therefore, the following expectations will be in effect at all times:
Be responsible.
Be respectful.
Be prepared.
Be a great listener.
Be the best that you can be!
To help encourage students to follow these class expectations, I reinforce appropriate behavior with positive praise, student tickets, class parties, and prizes. Some of our rewards also include group and whole class rewards (table points, compliment container, Fun Friday, etc.). If a student chooses not to follow a class expectation, the following are possible consequences:
*DOJO Message or Email to parent/guardian
*Note home – must be signed by parent/guardian and returned to school
*Homework notice – must be signed by parent/guardian and returned to school
*Phone call home – conference may be requested
